Refund Policy

When we refund money, when we do not, and how to ask. No small print.

Current version dated 15 August 2026

1. Your first payment: 14 days to get a refund

If Tutorio was not right for you, you can have the whole of your first payment back within 14 calendar days of the charge. You do not have to explain why.

This is unconditional: within 14 days we refund 100% of the first payment, even if you used the service heavily.

2. Subscription renewals

An automatic renewal is a separate payment. If you forgot to turn auto-renewal off and do not plan to use the service in the new period, write to us within 7 days of the charge.

If you did not actually use the Service during that period, we refund the full amount. If you did use it, we refund in proportion to the unused days of the period.

We do not treat “forgot to cancel” as a reason to keep your money. Write to us and we will sort it out.

3. When a refund does not apply

We do not refund where:

  • More than 14 days have passed since the first payment (or more than 7 days since a renewal) — but you can always turn auto-renewal off so you are not charged again.
  • Access to the account was suspended for a wilful breach of the Terms of Use.
  • Payment was for a yearly plan, it has been in use for more than 14 days, and the only reason for the request is a change of plans — in that case a proportional refund is possible at the Provider’s discretion.

Separately: if a technical fault on our side made the Service unavailable for a long time and we could not fix it, we refund proportionally — regardless of the periods above.

4. How to ask

Write to support@tutorio.net from the email address the account is registered to, and include:

  • The account’s email address.
  • The date and amount of the payment (both visible under “Subscription” → “Payment history”).
  • Briefly, what went wrong. This is not required for a refund within 14 days, but it helps us get better.
We reply within one working day and confirm the decision by email.

5. Refund timing and method

Money is refunded by the same means it was paid — to the same payment card. The payment system provides no other method.

  • We start the refund within 3 working days of confirming the request.
  • The bank usually credits the money within 3–10 banking days — that timing is the bank’s, not ours.
  • The payment system’s refund fee is not charged to the User.

6. Cancelling a subscription is not a refund

These are different things, and they are often confused:

  • Cancelling (turning off auto-renewal) means you will not be charged again. Pro access stays until the end of the period already paid for. It takes one click in your workspace.
  • A refund means we give money already paid back. It is done on request by email, on the terms above.
Data is never deleted, either on cancellation or on a refund. The account simply returns to the free plan.
